Technology

Picture From Here

Technology was very fun. I learned a ton of things this quarter in technology. I learned more about my keyboard skills. I can type faster and better and I can type without looking. Those are some things that I learned. I liked that the projects we did were easy and a fun to do. Also, that everyday we would do blog or typing test. I did not like that we had to take the really long tests. That is the only thing I did not like about technology. I think you should keep the typing test and the blog and the ABC's PowerPoint, because they were actually fun. If I could redo anything I would go back and do the PowerPoint again so I can put more words. That is what I like, do not like, and something I think you should keep in technology.

My First Homerun

Picture From Here

My first home run I ever hit was in a Kirkwood. We later went on to win the whole tournament. The home run that I hit was on field 2 which is 230 feet. I hit it when I was in my 11u year. It went over the left field wall and cleared it by about 25-35 feet. It felt good on the contact of my Easton Speed Series S1 and everyone knew it was a home run by the look of it. By the time the ball reached the ground, I was already at 2nd base. When I reached home plate my teammates attacked me and jumped on me in excitement. My helmet was ripped off in the group and my jersey got untucked. My team celebrated it like we won the World Series. After that game, we won every game by at least 6 points and took 1st place. I went 13-16 just in that tournament.

The 7 Doors

Picture From Here

I walked down the big hallway of the haunted mansion and all of a sudden the power went out. I was walking along the wall until I felt a door, then 6 other doors next to it. I opened all the doors just looking for light. I went in the brightest one and it was very odd because it seems as if I saw this place in a movie. It was oddly warm in there since there was snow. I kept walking and I heard a noise and it scared me so I started sprinting, but all of a sudden it felt as if I ran into a wall, yet nothing is there. I layed there in shock staring at what I just ran into. There was nothing there; completely nothing. After about a minute of staring I got up slowly and walked forward with my hand out to see if it was still there. Amazingly it was and it felt like a big blanket on a rock. It was sitting on top of something so I pulled it off and in my relief it was my brother.

TCYFA Black Cougars

Picture From Here

This year my football team was the Black Cougars.  Our record was 4-5 and we went on a 3 game win streak. I played 2nd string Quaterback, Fullback, and left side Linebacker. I scored 8 touchdowns in the season. My best rushing game was our 2nd game. I had 3, 75 yard rushes, right up the middle. My friend Logan was the Quaterback and he had 9 touchdowns. Every Tuesdays and Thursdays, we had practice and on Mondays, we had film day. Film day is when we went to my coaches house and watched a video of the team we were going to play on Saturday. It is pretty much like scouting. I had a 39 yard run after Logan threw a 57 yard pass. It was the farthest reception in the league.

SHE'S NOT DEAD!

Picture From Here

The one day that we all noticed we have recieved these letters, everyone got suspicious and started investigating. We did not know who the letter was from, but by what we see it seems to be from Mrs. Morton, our math teacher that everyone thought was dead. The next day after a long night of researching to find out what the codes mean, I couldnt find even a tiny clue of what the code says. I went to school and when 6th hour came it was Math time and thats when everyone started reearching with the new teacher Mr. Moore. A little bit into the class, a kid screamed out saying that he found a language that is what the code is in and everyone ran over to him. The language translated, "Be far, Be over, Be strong, Be sober, But not in October, Big Waves, Creates Happy Saves, Be long ever, Im still living." That made everyone supicious and we later find the code to say "In the waves caves, Im still living."

Ding-dong-ditching

Picture From Here

One day, when I went to my friend Owen's house in the Prairies. Owen, Clayton, and Me, all went ding-dong-ditching. The first house we did was his neighbor. They came outside and started to look for us on the side of the house and they let there dog out to find us. After 10 minutes of waiting, they finally went inside and we went to the next house down and got them too. But sadly, they did not come outside. Then, we went to the next house down, and they had a dog sitting at the door and it barked at us before we went to the door, so we skipped them. When we finished that whole street we went to the next one, where Owen's cousin lives. We got all of the houses there and we finally got to his cousin's house. It was my turn to go up there and I knocked on the door because they didn't have a doorbell and as soon as I got up to the door, his cousin jumped out of the bushes. I eventually found out that Owen called him and said to scare me when I went up to the door.

The Time I Hosted Thanksgiving.

Picture From Here

For my first Thanksgiving as host, I bought the biggest turkey they had in store. But, when I got home I noticed something strange about this turkey and why it was so big. As time passed, the turkey just sat there in the freezer waiting for that one day to be carved into pieces and gobbled up. I would just stare at it because how strange it was for this thing to be over 58 pounds. When the day before Thanksgiving came, I lifted it out of the freezer to let it thaw out. I noticed that it moved by itself just a little bit and it scared me. So I dropped it and ran into the living room. About 10 minutes later, when I gained confidence to walk in the kitchen the turkey was gone. I looked all around for it and couldn't find it. After some time has passed, I looked in the refrigerator to see what else I could make for Thanksgiving, and there it was, in the refrigerator all by itself. So I through it away in fear. And that is why we had hamburgers.

The Great Tape Measure

This is the story of "The Great Tap Measure." It was created in 1466. This tape measure has touched the stomachs of 1000 different celebrities. They make sure that it is the same tape measure to fit them so it can pass on until later in the future. The most important person that it touched was Abraham Lincoln, and when he was only 5 years old. The latest person that it touched is Psy, the creator of "Ganghnam Style." It has been known as the lucky tape measure because it gave all of the people it touched a chance to be a celebrity. The tape measure could be sold for almost $1 million. That is the story of "The Great Tape Measure."

Chocolate Pizza!

picture from here

I eat pizza all the time! Any time I get a chance I will eat pizza. I like it cold and hot it doesn't bother me. My favorite kind is "Meat Lovers" and I get it every time I go to eat at Cecil's. I once made a pizza by myself and the crust was glazed with chocolate, I put chocolate ice cream on it, and topped it off with fudge. It was the best pizza I have ever eaten. The most I have eaten in one setting is 6 pieces of cheese crust pepperoni. I love pizza!

The Halloween Twister!

picture from here

On Halloween day in 1948, there was a huge twister that swept town and stole all the kids candy. The twister was very deadly and powerful but for some reason it only liked to take candy. The twister came back every year until one year, a boy named Bob, researched about the twister because he knew it was gonna be coming again for Halloween. He spent all night on his computer and didn't find a thing about the "Halloween Twister". The next day when he was fully convinced he was going to find facts he found completely nothing still. But finally, on Halloween day, when he went Trick or Treating, the twister never came.

The Old Railroad Gang

picture from here

A long, long, long, time ago there was a gang named Road Runners. The would attack and hold hostage anybody who walked on these tracks without ever getting caught once. But one day as they saw this little boy walking down the old tracks and was throwing rocks he noticed the gang hiding in the woods waiting for him. He stopped and looked at them for a long hard time and they crept closer as he stood there. All of a sudden they sprinted after him and he took off as fast as he could back down the tracks. He looked behind him and noticed he was much faster than all of them until he ran into something hard and passed out from the hit. When he regained his conscience he looked around and noticed that he was in a dark room with about 30 other people that looked hurt and dirty.

About Me

picture from here

My name is Matt. I am 12 years old. I love a lot of sports. Some examples are baseball, football, and basketball. I have played basketball since I was 5 years old, baseball since I was 4 years old, and football since I was 10. My favorite food is anything that deals with pizza (pizza rolls, bagel bites, pizza, etc.). My favorite movie is Talledaga Nights and I love this movie because it is probably the funniest thing I have ever seen. I have 2 sisters and a half brother that lives in Florida. I love to play PS3. The 3 games that I usually play are Madden 12, Call of Duty 6, and MLB The Show 2011.
